As a fellow Swiftie, I wanted to create a few mood boards inspired by different Taylor Swift Eras. Taylor Swift if my favorite artist, and all of her different eras have a distinctive visual design and vibe. That’s why I wanted to share girl’s bedroom mood boards for a few of my favorite Taylor Swift eras in honor of the Eras Tour! I hope you enjoy these Taylor Swift themed Bedroom Mood Boards as much as I enjoyed creating them!
It was so hard to decide which eras I wanted to start with for this collection. I will be doing more designs to cover all the eras in the future, but I started with Lover, Speak Now, Reputation, and 1989. When I was younger, I wanted my bedroom to capture the whimsical magic that Taylor created through all her music videos and visual effects.
The Lover Era Bedroom Decor Mood Board

Taylor opens her Eras Tour with the Lover album, so let’s kick things off with the Lover Era! I wanted to lean into the album cover art with this girl’s room design! This feminine bedroom mood board embraces a romantic and whimsical aesthetic of this era.
I chose soft pastels for the color palette, specifically, blush pink, baby blue and lavender. The delicate patterns and soft textures play on Lover’s album artwork. This space is inviting and has nods to the album in every corner. The heart shaped lamp captures the romantic essence of the Lover era! Of course, the bedroom wouldn’t feel complete without a Taylor Swift poster from the Lover era. If you are a Swiftie that loves this album, this is a perfect room for you!
Speak Now Themed Bedroom Mood Board

For the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) inspired bedroom, I wanted to be bold with my design. Speak Now is one of my favorite eras! The obvious color palette for this bedroom was purple! Royal and powerful, purple captures the albums theatrical essence. Speak Now creates a sense of magic and wonder that I wanted to capture in my mood board. To give the design depth, I used a gradient of purples in the same hue paired with cream! I finished this design with purple and cream artwork and multicolor string lights to really make the Sparks Fly!
The Rep Era Bedroom Mood Board
Reputation Taylor Swift Eras Bedroom
Are you ready for it? This era is iconic! Who doesn’t love Reputation? This bedroom design is edgy and bold! The color palette is black, white and gray. This design is sleek and modern with moody vibes. I wanted to reflect the album’s themes of empowerment and justified defiance. This room captures the aesthetic of the Reputation Era. I love the newspaper-inspired rug and the reputation pillows. The monochromatic scheme is perfect for teens and fits nicely in a modern-transitional home. This room brings big energy and confidence. Don’t Blame Me, if you don’t like it!
1989 (Taylor’s Version) Bedroom Mood Board

This design is right out of your Wildest Dreams! This album was electrifying and energizing! I wanted this room to radiate vibrant energy and retro charm! For the color palette, I chose a gradient set of blues paired with cream inspired by Taylor’s album cover. I wanted to achieve a nostalgic tone mixed with modern minimalism. Sleek modern furniture paired with dainty patterns that give an 80’s retro feel makes for a cohesive 1989 eras vibe. This bedroom mood board is equal parts fun and Clean! It’s a Wonderland for any teenage girl’s Style!
