Welcome to my home! Below, I invite you to take a tour and explore my own curated spaces. We are slowly, but surely remodeling our 1980s home. This has been a journey to seamlessly add modern classic elements to our home while preserving the inherent vintage charm. I’ve shared a lot of behind the scenes on both Instagram and Pinterest, so be sure to follow along there for more projects to come!

1. The Moody Bedroom
- When designing this bedroom, I wanted to create a space that was dark and moody while still being warm and inviting. I selected the paint color Ripe Olive by Sherwin Williams. I knew this color would make a bold statement while offering a blend of comfort and sophistication. I purchased the Tilly Bed in the fabric color Talc Linen. I paired this upholstered bed with reclaimed wood nightstands in a java black color! These hand carved nightstands have an earthy aesthetic and pair beautifully with my vintage inspired table lamps! It’s the perfect neutral tone (that is not stark white), and it pairs beautifully with the green wall color! For bedding, I opted for moody tones selecting two olive throw pillow covers, two black floral print pillows, and one dark brown lumbar pillow. I love adding layers to the bed. I started with this Amazon quilt set, added a linen duvet, a cozy knit throw, and a beautiful handmade kantha quilt.
2. My Cozy Home Office
- Creating my home office space has been one of my favorite home projects to date (mostly because I got to work on this project with my dad)! This room felt a bit lifeless as it had bare white walls and no personality. As I began designing the space, I decided built-in shelves would be ideal for storage and an area to display my favorite decor pieces. I explored a lot of different options, but ultimately decided to use the IKEA bookshelf hack to create “built-ins”. I will write a blog post detailing how my dad and I did this, but I also have a TikTok video explaining it further. I opted for the paint color Retreat by Sherwin Williams, and I am obsessed with it. It’s a calm and uplifting shade that’s cozy and perfect for productivity. Lots of the decor items in this space are from Amazon and Target! You can find all of the sources here.
3. The Neutral Guest Bedroom
- When designing this guest bedroom, it was important for me to create a space that felt different from our moody bedroom, so I opted to create a neutral space. I have to start with this stunning light fixture! We only have 8ft ceilings, and this 3-arm chandelier truly makes a statement without hanging too low! The wall color in this guest room is Heron Plume by Sherwin Williams. This gentle paint color is so inviting and serves as the perfect backdrop for the decor selections. We absolutely love our Tilly Bed, so we opted for the same bed in Talc Linen. I opted for a wood toned nightstand; I love the unique knobs on this one! I selected these affordable white ceramic table lamps from Target to go on each nightstand. For bedding, I kept it simple with this beige quilt and the same cozy knit throw from the moody bedroom! The pillow covers are handmade from one of my favorite Etsy stores! You can find all of the sources for this guest room here.
4. Modern-Transitional Dining Room
- The dining room may seem pretty simple, but it was a long project. Our dining room space is open to the living area, but the walls in the dining space originally had rounded pine logs (picture a log cabin vibe). These walls were completely different from the living room walls, so the two spaces felt like completely different homes. My main goal was to make both the dining room and the living room flow while still defining each area. We removed the rounded log wall, and added drywall! We painted the walls Sherwin Williams Extra White. The space feels so cozy now, and we love hosting family dinners in here!
5. Modern-Transitional Living Room
Before purchasing furniture or selecting paint colors from my spaces, I create a mood board for every single room in our home! The mood boards are the perfect visual guide to help bring these designs to life. Below, you will find the mood boards I designed for each of these rooms! It’s so much fun to see my design come to life.
