Tips for Decorating Your Coffee Table
Today, I’m sharing my favorite coffee table decor tips! I love using coffee tables to showcase some of my favorite decor pieces! Decorating your coffee table can be a little tricky, but I have a few fool proof tricks to help you!
Tip 1: Reflection
My first tip for decorating your coffee table is to incorporate your favorite things! Let it be a reflection of you. I love incorporating decor objects to help create layers and add visual interest. From figurines to photo frames, decor objects can help add personality to your coffee table vignette. Below are a few of my favorite decor objects for coffee tables! Be sure you choose objects of varying heights.
Tip 2: Reading Material
My next tip is to use coffee table books! Books are a great way to add height and dimension. You can always layer a picture frame or a vase atop. They also make great conversation pieces. I love Architectural Digest, Louis Vuitton, and Living Beauty.
Tip 3: Foliage
I also love incorporating real or faux stems on the coffee table! Adding greenery helps breathe life into the space and creates an inviting space. I have to admit, I do not have much of a green thumb, so I usually go for faux stems! I always try to find faux stems that are realistic looking. I’ll link a few of my favorite faux stems below! Sometimes faux stems are so obviously fake, and they look cheap. This will distract from the high end look you’re trying to achieve.
Tip 4: Anchor Tray
Decorative trays can also be used on coffee tables to create an anchor to layer your decor on. Using a tray can help frame your coffee table. Be sure you stick with the shape of your coffee table if you opt to use a tray. For example, if you have a round coffee table, use a round tray, and if you have a square coffee table, use a square tray.
